Camps Bay Vista

A nice long walk along the pipe track overlooking Camps Bay will reward you with many a good sight, of which this is only one. This is the view I had with my feet dangling over a drop off from Slangolie Crag with Camps Bay in the mid ground and Lions Head in the back.

Wooden Jetty

I always like to put jetties and such like at a diagonal angle, mainly because there’s normally a horizon line or other horizontal line creating to much symmetry, which can work sometimes (don’t get me wrong) just not on this one.

On Guard

I just like the way this statue stands in the shadowy interior of this cathedral looking after all those who are buried around him. The marble did a great job of reflecting the light while the rest of the interior absorbed all the light, leaving heavy shadows.

The Little Mermaid

Probably one of the most photographed sights in Copenhagen, and who was I to not do the same. I was lucky enough to have the statue crowd free that day as it was bitterly cold and no one was crazy enough to venture out, except me of course.

Railings Into Distance

More lines, this time with the converging lines going off to the left hand edge, keeping it off center drawing your eyes off to the left making you wonder where this corridor leads.

Out In The Wetlands

It was with a sinking feeling that I took this shot, as my feet slowly descended into the smelly mud in which I was standing. I would have loved to have used my ND filter to close in that white hole created by the clouds, but I went and left it at home by mistake that day.
